When they miss the point, as you see it, let them know. If you read it in the paper, write a letter to the editor in response. If you saw or heard it on the airwaves, call the station and express your opinion to them, tactfully and assertively. Let them know that, as a consumer of the news, they should consider your viewpoint too.
