Since the main event is a rally only, the UFPJ "Peace Table" is organizing a march which will feed into the Lincoln Memorial - more. The Peace Contingent will assemble on the Mall at 14th and Constitution just east of the White House.
Please arrive by 11:00 am. Use the Federal Triangle Metro stop. See
the Location Page <http://www.onenationforpeace.org/logistics/location/>
for map.
We will march as a group, chanting peace slogans, to the Lincoln Memorial.
The main rally begins at 12:00.
Last-minute volunteers who have not got a literature distribution assignment
from the volunteer coordinator should also come 14th & Constitution.
"Jobs, Peace, and Justice" are among the demands. Peace/anti-war groups will be represented! After all, where can money be obtained to fund needed jobs, education,
infrastructure, and housing?
* From cutting the war budget
* By ending the wars and occupations
* Through closing US military bases and bringing the troops home
