Tax Day on Public Square

We have agreed to hold the next CPA ME Committee meeting on Wednesday, October 20. Because many of us will be attending the program at Siegal College at 7:00 PM that evening (see below for details), we will meet earlier, at 5:30 PM at Corkey and Lenny's (27091 Chagrin Blvd, in Village Square, just beyond Rte 271) for dinner. We know some of you expect to be late, but if we order food first, we can start the business of the meeting by 5:45 PM and plan to be done by 6:45 PM. Siegal College is at 26500 Shaker Blvd (just east of the Maltz Museum). If you plan to attend the program, you should register (see below).

Attached is the final version of the flier for the October 26 program at Westshore UUC in both MS Word 97-03 and PDF formats. Please do everything possible to publicize this program, distribute fliers, and spread the word. David's sister will be printing more, which will be available for pickup on the back porch of Peace House soon (notice to follow).

Frances, can you please post this on the CPA calendar and send it out by e-mail to the CPA list?

Bob, can you distribute another press release, specific for this program?

Liz, since Rev Kathleen Rolenz will be the moderator, please ask the Westshore UUC to take a more active role in promoting this program to their own congregation and community.

Thank all of you for attending the retreat at Nathalie and Jim's home this afternoon, and thanks again to Nathalie and Jim for their hospitality and to Craig for keeping us on track. Our brief initial assessment was quite positive. Draft notes about our discussion will follow soon, to remind us of where we left off and what we agreed to do.
