Join Cleveland Peace Action in Lakewood's Fourth of July Parade

We'll be carrying our model of the Pentagon (see Tax Day on Public Square slide show on our homepage), with messages on all 5 sides to Bring the War Dollars Home.  If you want to march with us, come early and look for the Pentagon.

The Lakewood Fourth of July Parade will be held on Wednesday, July 4, 2012. The parade steps off at 10:00 AM at Kenneth and Lake Avenue and continues east on Lake Avenue to Lakewood Park, ending around 11:30 AM.

After the parade, festivities will continue in Lakewood Park with games, food, activities and information provided by several of Lakewood’s not-for-profit organizations.

Details for Cleveland Peace Action Marchers

Here are the last details for the Parade in Lakewood on the 4th of
July.  

Parade time : 10 AM, sharp
Parade Route: East on Lake Ave from Kenneth to Lakewood Park
Line-up time: 9:00 to 9:30 AM at our location. We are asked not to get
there later than 9:30 AM.
Line-up location: in front of 17612 Edgewater Drive, we will be #16 in
the Green section.
We will be behind Tim McCormack for Court of Appeals and directly in
front of Judge McClelland.


If you park your car in the Lakewood Park, you will need to take the
shuttle to go to the other end. 
I will wait at the entrance of the Lakewood Park for Mike Fagan at 9:15
AM, to get the Pentagon.
We should try to car pool as much as possible.
I will have the blue T-shirts from Peace Action for those who don't
have the one.
I will make the flyers.
Bring some water.
I am sorry that we have to be there a little earlier than we thought.
