About the Possibilitarian Puppet Theater

Possibilitarians take to the streets in and around Public Square in downtown Cleveland, OH for a parade of puppets, music, and human beings. Why do we take to the streets? For what do we take to the streets? We take to the streets to make fun of this big mess we are all caught up in! AND to make serious our role and responsibility in this mess. Our music and puppets and rabble-rousing and merrymaking are not satisfied with only being sorted into the culturally appropriate and manageable boxes of theaters or galleries or what-have-you. The street is the one place that still does belong to all of us even if the police and televisions and insurance agents and lawmakers and automobiles and advertisements have long ago succeeded in convincing us otherwise. Possibilitarians take to the street to celebrate Posibilitarianism, and to confront the forces we feel most compelled to confront, because every day we wake up and they are confronting us. We parade in the street to break the spell of invincibility and unchangability of these forces, to break the spell of silence and disempowerment, and just for the fun of it.
