Tabling :Talks with people at events such as festivals, street fairs, bazaars and other public events. Alternatives to Military Recruitment: Informs students, parents, school personnel, and the community about the realities of military recruitment and possible alternatives so young people can make informed choices and families understand their right to “opt out” of having their contact information forwarded to the military. Advocacy : Follows legislation and policy initiatives related to peace issues and works to influence US Senators and Representatives in Northeast Ohio (OH Congressional Districts 10, 11, 13, and 14) through membership alert emails and direct contact with legislative staff.
